Running a business isn't a walk in the park, I've been through it too. And by now I know: the core elements of business success are an effective sales plan combined with online presence. That's why I'm here - to show you everything I've learned over the past almost two decades creating sales campaigns for small business owners.
How it all began
After finishing university, I worked in sales and business development for almost two decades having the "dream job" in a corporate environment. To be honest I really learned a lot: about the psychology of purchase, sales and marketing strategies, I attended various courses and I indeed made great sales, growing those corporate companies’ huge profits even further. I later received a promotion to company director, which was a terrific opportunity for me to advance my expertise, learn, and grow.
At first, I loved the challenges and the hard work. But as time went on I began to feel like selling was more about the hustle and reports, and that customers were just "numbers" rather than actual people.
At my core, I'm all about helping, mentoring, and inspiring people, so it was disheartening to see that the human touch is lost. As I learned more about what was happening behind the scenes, I started to feel stressed and overwhelmed.
THE question
That's when a good friend of mine asked me:
"But then why don't you start your own business and work the way you want with your clients, focusing on quality over quantity?"
So I made a bold move and with a little baby girl in my arms, I started my own business (of course it sounds easier than it was, but despite all the difficulties it was all worth it).
Sounds familiar, right?
These are the most common complaints my clients have.
I've noticed a significant shift in customer behaviour over the last twenty years, and by now it's not really news. Nowadays, customers seem to have an immediate "NO" attitude towards any advertisement or sales promotion.
And I really can't blame them, it's understandable given the years of pushy, scammy advertising that has left people feeling sceptical and untrusting of promotional messages.
Even I can't help but feel the same way...
But then how to make sales?

By building an honest and respectful relationship with your customer.
My experience is that selling works when the foundation of your strategy is understanding your customer.
Psychology studies show that the vast majority of our (not just) sales decisions are influenced by our feelings and emotions and by how we are treated - we are humans after all. Typically, we come up with rational justifications for our purchases only after we've made them.
So I learned: building trust and credibility is the key.
I started helping my clients by teaching them that a good sales strategy contains valuable, informative insights and useful free trials before the actual sales takes place. This way they can establish themselves as a reputable and trustworthy source in the eyes of their potential clients, who became more open to promotional messages, resulting in higher engagement and conversions to sales.
